Shelia,
Missing you so much cannot helpbut to think about the times we had in Louisiana and here in California.
My fondness memories were many years ago we were in the age range of about 4 to 9 years old. You, Debbie Ann and Ben came to stay with us while your Mom went to Dallas to help their half sister when became very ill. My Mom had her hands full with me, my brother Alvin and sisters Linda and Margie and you all. We would fuss about any little thing you could imagine. Something as minor as who was going to sit in the front seat. We fussed with you all about calling our Mother what we loving called her, "Moull". But all of the cousins called her "Muoll"; even to this day. We would fuss about you all calling your Mother your Mother "Madear". Were we crazy then or what? Remembering those days and all that fussing, it is so funny and petty now. We had fun too. We just could not get any of you to ride Toby our Shetland pony. But we went fishing nearly everyday. We also played softball during the summer against the male cousins and sometimes the adults. Shelia, you were the best player. You and I always tried to get on the same team.
Aaah... precious memories, too many to wite about here.
I know your spirit of love is with us all. We will keep you in our hearts.

My dear Cousin,
I thought of you in love today,
But this is nothing new.
I thought of you yesterday
And the days before that, too.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
Now all I have is memories
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake,
With which I’ll never part.
God has you in His keeping,
I have you in my heart.

To Wayne ,Cedric, Lil Wayne and Samaja’,
Those we love don’t go away.
They walk beside us everyday.
Unseen, unheard, but always near.
Still loved, still missed and forever so dear.
Shelia’s homegoing leaves many heart aches
that no one on earth can heal,
but her love leaves memories
no one can steal.
